In my plan, we are beltless
I solemnly swear that I am up to no good...

My sister came home yesterday. Yay. We watched some Veronica Mars season one with Jenny. Today we cleaned the house because they are taking pictures to have when they put the house on the market. Currently Nicole and I are chillin' until our calzones are ready for pick up. It's sad that all the TV finales were last week, or this week, what will I do all summer?

Tomorrow I have to dress up for some senior superlative thing. It is a pain in my behind. But Nicole straightened my hair, and it looks lovely. I plan to do the same for graduation. Speaking of, I borrowed a beautiful dress from Jenny and got some snazzy new shoes for the ceremony/my graduation party (Friday, May 26, btw). I tried it all on together today (with the robe-ugh) and I can't even believe I'm actually graduation. Anyway, more about that later I guess.

Farewell.

I'm bored and sitting alone in my Athens hotel room. The meetings today were terribly boring. Fred, Nicole, and my dad all leave tomorrow, which is sad.
I found an interesting article about athletes and Ivy League admissions. It's here.I never knew that there was a scoring system for athletes that coaches have to follow. Anyway, I think I'm going to watch an episode of Grey's Anatomy I have downloaded on my computer and then go to bed. Night.

So it's been forever. I have no excuses.

Spring Break in Disney World was fantastic. Pictures here: http://community.webshots.com/user/disney2k6

My cousin Fred came to town on Saturday so I've been pretty busy. On Sunday we went to the Braves game. Yesterday we went to the Georgia Aquarium. It was fun but waaay too crowded. Then I went out to eat at Cheesecake Factory with my friends for Angela's and my birthday before coming back to my house for cake and presents. Today began excellently with Tommy treating me to Starbucks. Then I went to see the Bodies Exhibit for an anatomy field trip. It was cool. I came home and watched Mean Girls with Jess. Then I did some pilates. Then I had a fantastic homecooked birthday dinner, played Scrabble, and had cake. I pretty much can't believe I'm 18. But I am, so yay.

I've been meeting a lot of people from Brown on myspace which has been cool. I am so excited about next year. It's going to be amazing. I just want to be done with school, spend an amazing couple of months with my friends, and be there. With the pretty water polo player from Cali.

Oh yeah, the greatest news of all... my shoulder hasn't been hurting, and I'm doing well in practice. I just hope it stays this way. Yay.

So overall this was a pretty lame entry, and I guess that's why I haven't been updating as much. I wish I had more to say.

Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars tonight! I love my TV.

State Senator Robert Hagan (D-Ohio) says he will introduce legislation to ban Republican couples from adopting children. According to Hagan, "credible research'' shows that adopted children raised in GOP households are more at risk for developing "emotional problems, social stigmas, inflated egos, and alarming lack of tolerance for others they deem different than themselves and an air of overconfidence to mask their insecurities." Hagan agrees there is no scientific evidence backing his claims about Republican parents -- just, as Hagan notes, there is none backing State Representative Ron Hood's (R) bill banning gay parents from adopting. Hood claims children purportedly suffer from emotional "harm" when they are adopted by gay couples. Hagen admits he created his proposal to mock Hood's proposed ban on gay adoption in a way that people would see the "blatantly discriminatory and extremely divisive" nature of the bill. The GOP House leadership does not support Hood's proposal.

Lovely weekend.

Friday night I went to Moe's with Angela, K.C., Michael, and Ashley. Then we came back to my house, baked some brownies, watched some Family Guy, and colored. That's right that was my Friday night and it was fabulous.

On Saturday I went to Perimeter with Angela, K.C., and Rachel to look for an alternative prom dress to the one I bought last week. We met up with Danielle when we got there since she had been shopping with the madre. I ended up finding a fabulous red dress. It's got a halter top and it's ankle length and just lovely. And the best part? $58 with tax. So I'll be returning the $200 one I got last weekend shortly. After we shopped K.C. and Angela came over and we did our econ busywork. Then we looked at our colleges to see the courses they have and study abroad programs and whatnot. The Brown site is confusing as hell though so I really didn't find out much. But if K.C. and Angela go to UGA then they'll have some really awesome opportunites to go abroad. After that they helped me pack up my room into boxes for the move coming up this summer. I need to start packing up now so that we can repaint my room and whatnot in time to show the house and blah blah. So we boxed up my trophies, medals, books, posters, picture frames, and other junk I had lying around. My room looks so different now. It's crazy.

Sunday I ran on the treadmill and showered. I did some homework. And then I went to Alex's 3rd Annual Superbowl Party. There was amazing food of course. I left after halftime cause I wanted to be sure to be home and relaxing when Grey's Anatomy came on. Speaking of, it was awesome. Can't wait to see what happens next week.

This week should go by fast. Wednesday night team dinner at O'Shaugnessy's. Never been, but I hope it's good. Since I don't know when I'll be done, LOST party is at Rachel's. It's the first LOST party not at my house Craziness. Thursday is high school state prelims. So we leave school at 10:30, eat at Olive Garden, play at Westminster, and finally swim (hopefully I'll be swimming). On Friday we're celebrating Jess's birthday at Aspen's and then hanging out. And on Saturday I'll be either watching or swimming state finals. Then the next weekend Will is coming. So yeah, this month is going to fly by!

Alright, I must be going so farewell.

Well, Nicole has been nagging at me to update. Apparently telling her all about what I've been up to over the phone isn't good enough. So here goes.

My shoulder is still bothering me; who knows when it will be better. I entered myself for high school state so if I feel like I can swim I will. Either way, I get to go to Olive Garden and I'll cheer everyone on.

All we can talk about lately is Prom. As of now, I'm planning on going. If I can swim by then, I'll go to Sectionals on Thursday and Friday. We at one point had a group of 34, but luckily that split and now we'll have about 16-18 I think. Much more reasonable. This weekend K.C., Angela, Danielle, and I went to North Point to look at dresses. I ended up getting a really pretty dark turquoise one. But I'm still gonna go again and look at possibly Perimeter this weekend and see if I find one I like better.

This weekend was also Lim's Chinese New Year party. I had a lot of fun. Played football for the first time. I scored a touchdown, which was of course followed by my spiking of the football. Got a grass stain on my jeans to prove that I put forth great effort.

What else what else. School is boring. I've been catching up on Veronica Mars. Finished Season 1 of Arrested Development. Am looking forward to getting Grey's Anatomy in 2 weeks (though for some reason I could have swore I read it was coming out last week). And now that I've officially proved my loserness, I'm done.

Tomorrow is Wednesday, and they're always fun. Especially when they begin at Starbucks with Tommy.

Peace out.
